In the month of June, the central, eastern, north-eastern, north western, south-western and western parts of the country, which benefited from kiremt rains, recorded light to heavy rains in many parts of the country.
Based on the occasional strong weather events in July, numerical weather pridiction indicates that there will be heavy rainfall that can cause flash floods in flood-prone and urban areas.
